Smayate Foundation

Smayate Foundation is an organization run by a group of like-minded, enthusiastic youth focused towards providing modern education to underprivileged/rural children.

Smayate® is based in Bengalooru, India and is registered under Govt. of Karnataka, India.

Our mission is to identify children/schools from various rural areas which lack basic quality education, provide necessary support to such and encourage them towards education. 

We have undertaken many projects in the past by providing clothes and books to the school children, sponsoring their education and conducting weekend classes. We have a few on-going projects focusing towards our mission.

Our ongoing project:

• Vidyateertha project:
  Vidyateertha is an initiative which started in 2010, aimed at identifying economically weak but talented children from rural areas and helping them to fulfill their dream to have quality education. The team is integral part of Smayate® which has been involved in providing basic education for rural children since many years now.

Completed:

• Koonankoppalu school project:
  It feels very good to say that Smayate's acquaintance with Koonankoppalu school has resulted in very positive results. We are very proud of our team and volunteers who have put all their efforts in making this project a success. It is very tough for all of us to get apart from this beautiful village and move on.
